DESCRIPTION:

A Blue Crowned Monarch and her Conference of Birds was inspired by Rumi and his poetic exploration of matters related to our quest for soul. A series of still images of the Monarch wearing various bird-inspired masks were animated and projected onto a tissue paper booklet suspended as if in flight. Edward Lear's lyrical illustrations provided inspiration for the masks.
